Parts Catcher Actuator

The Parts Catcher Assembly consist of a set of components that allows small parts to be caught during parting-off. A parts catcher is an essential tool for any small to large batch processing and helps avoid the "search" for the final part in the chip tray of the machine. It is designed for use on the Tormach 15 Slant-PRO Lathe but can be adopted for other machines too (inquire about possible customization for your specific machine). The intent is for this to be used in conjunction with our Parallel Mounting Bar, but this should not be considered a requirement and users will find this system to be flexible and customizable.

• Made from 6061-T6 Aluminum and machined to reduce weight on the rotating components.
• Actuated using air (two lines, one each for extend/retract) with the angle of rotation fully adjustable after installation.
• Easily operated from a 5-way/2-Position solenoid.
• Includes 6mm Quick Connect air hose fittings with flow control valves (allows for some adjustment of extend and retract speeds).
• Includes 4x M6 screws for mounting to a rigid attachment post and screws for mounting the catch tray to the rotating arm.
• Vertical adjustment of rotation center.
• Includes 3D printed, 2 part catch tray (two screws to mount and a single screw to remove lower basket).
